Nikki Lipari, RN
Hello!
Ever since I was a young girl, most of my family referred to me as “Nurse Nikki” as I could often be found tending to my brother’s boo boo’s and caring for our mom when she inevitably caught our germs and was too sick to get out of bed. It seems that being a nurse is something I was destined for.
After college I had a successful career in construction management until I decided to give it up for the best job of all — being a mom! After I had my second son, I realized that I wanted to do something to make a difference in the world by caring for children and their families through times of health and illness. I began going to nursing school one class at a time all the while navigating the magical and sometimes crazy moments of being a stay-at-home mom. Four years later, I graduated as the valedictorian of the Dorothea Hopfer School of Nursing in New Rochelle, NY (currently the Montefiore School of Nursing).
Becoming a Registered Nurse has been one of my greatest accomplishments. Working here at Next Generation Pediatrics is absolutely wonderful and our practice model is a great fit with my goals and values as a nurse and a mom. I love watching your children grow and I aim to provide them with the same care and compassion I give my own – who are now 9 and 11 years old! We live in Katonah, NY with our Boston terrier Butters, our hamster Benny and our 3 goldfish, Moe,Larry & Curly; and you can still find me studying into the wee hours of the night because I am never done learning!
